Feelings with colors

I was born In Turku, Finland in 1974.

When in 1987 I took the brush for the first time in my hand at artist Helena Ruusulaaksos house, I have been "dependent on the brush." Sure, my life has had periods when I have not painted, but inside there is a need, almost a force to paint the feelings and experiences on canvas.

When I moved to Switzerland, I met the English painter David Parry who began to teach me oil colour painting techniques.

My all-time favourite is definitely the great Ilya Repin, but there were more wonderful painters that inspired me, like A. Bouguereau, and Albert Edefelt works, Amedeo Modigliani, Francisco de Goya, Fernando Botero they have inspired me to paint. I love their work and their ability to report to the viewer of the story that is painted. I tried the same in my own works.

I paint mainly with oil paints.

I also do graphic design and website design.
